REFINE Magazine
From 2019 through 2021, I had the honor to serve as REFINE Magazine’s Art Director in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This role allowed me to utilize my photography skills in junction with my art direction abilities, which truly allowed not only myself, but the magazine, to thrive.
Under my art direction, REFINE Magazine won Best Student Magazine Nationwide from the Society of Professional Journalists.

The Sustainability Issue
The REFINE Sustainability issue reveals the explorative phenomenon of sustainable decisions amongst an urban landscape. Directly juxtaposing the foundational urban roots of REFINE Magazine, this centerfold shoot focused primarily on layering up-cycled textiles in conjunction with a soothing hum of unity, grace, and divine femininity.

The Apocalypse Issue
The REFINE Apocalypse issue emerged at the dawn of the COVID-19 virus. Our centerfold and cover shoot runs vivid with motifs of isolation, though contrasted with imagery celebrating trust and dependence. The darker the night, the brighter the stars.

The Dream Issue
In stark contrast to the Apocalypse Issue, the Dream Issue is born. As we gingerly emerged from lockdown - the Dream Issue closely followed suit. An ethereal, near otherworldly aura gushes from our centerfold and cover imagery. Hope is capable of painting our lives with the utmost radiance. It was my job to present that accordingly.
